Way to go Green Meadows WTP team!
Recently power monitoring equipment and software was installed at the Airport Haul Reservoir pumping station located on Airport Haul Rd. This facility is the primary means of distributing finished water from both the Green Meadows and Corkscrew WTP’s utilizing eight – 300 HP high service pumps. After installation of the power monitoring equipment and software the Green Meadows team optimized the amount of power they were using at the facility during peak electrical demand times saving approximately $4,000 per month. What an accomplishment!! Improvements in operations such as this is commendable and is greatly appreciated.
Power monitoring equipment and software is being installed at several other facilities. The goal is to outfit all WTPs and WWTPs with this hardware and software by 2016.
