NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Everglades Foundation will be hosting the “Everglades Water Supply Summit” on Tuesday, January 17, and Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at the Augustus B. Turnbull III Florida State Conference Center, 555 W. Pensacola Street, in Tallahassee, Florida. Government officials, business leaders and concerned Floridians will discuss the growing water supply crisis and how Everglades Restoration is the key to solving it.
Lee County Commissioners Ray Judah, and Frank Mann are anticipated to fly on the Port Authority plane to Tallahassee. Commissioners Ray Judah and Tammy Hall will be attending the “Everglades Water Supply Summit”, while Commissioner Frank Mann will be attending a meeting at the Florida Office of Economic Opportunity. Commissioner Tammy Hall may also be attending the meeting at the Florida Office of Economic Opportunity.
While attending the Everglades Water Supply Summit each Commissioner may individually speak about and/or respond to questions concerning matters of interest and relevance to the citizens of Lee County; however, no decisions concerning County business will be made by the attending Commissioner while at the Summit.
