Ordinances

An ordinance is a law of the county, local in nature, adopted by the Board of County Commissioners. They usually cover local matters not already covered by federal or state laws. Ordinances are typically regulatory in nature covering county matters such as: zoning, building codes, solid waste management, county utility rates, road signage and development reviews.

The documents are in Adobe PDF format. Download and install Acrobat Reader if you don't already have it installed on your system. These lists are very extensive in detail and will take about 2-3 minutes to load.

The first 2 digits of the ordinance number represent the year (i.e. 75-0 would be found in the 1971-1984 section).
