SCOPE OF WORK:   The Lee County Board of County Commissioners is requesting Qualification Statements from interested Contractors to plug flowing wells of various diameters and depths throughout Lee County.  The total number of wells to be plugged has been approximated at 93 but is dependent upon the number of wells identified and/or reported.  The work will be performed by licensed well drilling contractors to be selected based on qualifications.  Lee County intends to qualify a number of contractors with whom to enter into contract negotiations.  Well plugging assignments will be rotation based to be determined by the Lee County project manager.  The work shall be completed in accordance with local and state codes and regulations and best management practices.
