Status: Completed For Department: Parks and Recreation Details: In September 2010 the County purchased property on Fort Myers Beach using bed tax funds. Improvements have been made and the name has been changed to Crescent Beach Family Park. The project was designed and managed by Lee County’s Department of Construction and Design. The improvements that have been completed include the installation of street front landscaping, beach side dune vegetation, handicap parking spaces, bathroom facilities and handicap access from the site to the beach. Some of the activities that have been planned for the park include outdoor volleyball and ping pong tournaments.
