Status: Current For Department: Parks & Recreation Details: This project consists of improving the last 46 acres of the existing Veterans Community Park in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Work includes construction of a 3 acre multi-purpose playfield that will include a cricket pitch. Also included is a 3 acre dog park designed to accommodate both large and small dogs with water and sanitary provisions available. Phase IV will also provide two small and two large picnic shelters and two family restrooms. Additional parking and landscaping will top off the scope of work.
