Program/Project Description: Memorandum of Understanding with the Florida Division of Emergency Management to receive an interoperable communications system called the Emergency Deployable, Wide Area, Remote Data System (EDWARDS). Upgrades the Emergency Deployable, Interoperable Communications System (EDICS) unit assigned to Lee County with voice and data communications as well as broadband access to the Internet for EDICS system trailers and emergency responders deployed within five miles of the EDICS.
