Evaluation And Appraisal Report
Public Workshop
Notice is hereby given that the Lee County Division of Planning will hold public workshop to facilitate the participation of development review agencies in the Evaluation and Appraisal Report process. Members of the Lee County Board of Commissioners, Local Planning Agency and Land Development Advisory Committee have been specifically invited to attend the Review Agency Workshop and County Department/Division Workshop described below. Members of the public are encouraged to attend all workshops.
The Evaluation and Appraisal Report is a review of the Lee County Comprehensive Plan, including the Future Land Use Element, that must be completed by local planning staff pursuant to the Growth Management Act. The desired outcome of the EAR process is to improve upon the Lee County Comprehensive Plan through specific policy changes, direction for further research, and, in some cases, reaffirmation of the current course on certain issues.
