The Division of Public Resources operates as the local franchise authority for cable television companies within the unincorporated portion of Lee County. The Division is responsible in making sure the cable franchises are in compliance with County ordinances and franchise agreements.

Cable services are provided by two companies Comcast Cable and Time Warner. Both companies provide high definition and high speed internet services
to the residents of Lee County.
